Closed for the Season!

We were excited to find this CG on Dyrt and that it wasn’t difficult to find (in spite of a reviewer’s commenting); but when we arrived, the gate was pad-locked.  (Sign indicated open hours; but not that it would be closed for the season.)

Fortunately, we went .5 mile further and found a small dry camping site— maybe 4-6 vehicles could be accommodated.  Sign there indicated that there was a 5-day limit for camping.  A couple of other vehicles came in; but none chose to join us for the night.  Camping area is right by the gravel road and there was traffic coming & going late into the evening & early in the morning; but regardless it was a great site w/ privacy from the road.

Nice campground

It's a small campground not a lot of spots, but it nice. Camp by the river, nice views of the hills. Not unusual to have deer or moose come through the campground. 10.00 per night but if you have golden age pass it's only 5.00 per night.

Great nights sleep here.

This was an amazing spot. The only thing is if you have dogs watch the outlet from the river that's right behind the camp spots....it's pretty mucky.

Great BLM campground

This is a great campsite. Nicely spaced out sites, peaceful. We were here in July and the bugs were not bad. Just don't follow Google maps directions. It will place the route correctly but then tell you to turn wrong. Just follow the route it shows. There are also signs. Camp hosts are very nice.

Nice place to camp

This is a nice quiet camp ground. Not to big but it's next to the river not uncomon for a deer or a moose to walk through camp it is dry camping but well maintained through the summer there is a camp host. Very nice man friendly and helpful. They are about to close for the winter so the host is gone now.

Nice and Quaint

Very nice and quaint campground. Smaller tent sites and large double tent or trailer sites. Right on the river, good for fishing. Very clean, even the pit toilet bathroom was clean. Nearby to hot springs, off roading/short hikes/mountain or dirt biking trails and areas. Only $5/night with your National Parks Pass. Dog friendly and awesome fire pits (clean and not warped racks for grilling) We will definitely be back.
