Nezperce National Forest manages Granite Springs, a US Forest Service campground in the mountains of central Idaho. Details on individual site layout, amenities, and road access remain limited, so campers should contact the forest service directly before making the trip. Poet Creek and 14 Mile Trailhead are both within a few miles and may suit those scouting the broader area. Granite Springs is a reasonable starting point for campers comfortable with limited advance information and willing to verify conditions on the ground.
