Visitors will travel the scenic Magruder Road Corridor to reach 14 Mile Trailhead, which offers a starting point for hikers and pack trains to reach the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness via Trail 501-the Cache Creek Trail and Trail 580-the Boston Mountain Trail. Along with 2 camp pads, an unloading ramp, hitch rails, stock feeders and a restroom, visitors can also enjoy three interpretive panels with descriptions of Frank Church and information on the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.

Directions
From State Highway 14, turn south onto Red River-Dixie Road #222. Follow Road #222 past Red River Ranger Station (now closed) to its junction with the Nez Perce Trail Road #468. Turn east onto Road #468 and follow approximately 14 miles to the campground and trailhead.
