Federal Gulch Campground sits along a river corridor in Sawtooth National Forest, accessed via rough roads that require careful navigation. The US Forest Service manages this established campground from May through October, with sites accommodating RVs up to 20 feet in length. A strict no-pets policy applies to all visitors.
The riverside location provides water access, though campers should prepare for challenging road conditions that may test vehicle clearance and traction. Sawmill Campground offers an alternative just half a mile west for those seeking different amenities or easier access.
