Elks Flat

The campground maintains clean facilities including toilets and drinking water, with a camp host present during peak season. Father's Day weekend brings heavy crowds and ATV traffic, creating noise that extends into evening hours. The nearby highway requires supervision of small children. For a different experience, Dog Creek Campground offers an alternative just over a mile away.

One of the best places to stay near Pine

We stayed at this campground in June of 2019. The camp host was friendly and the camp was kept clean and everyone was courteous to one another. Behind us was the river and at the end of the campground was some hot springs. It was Father's Day weekend so it was extremely busy. We got there Thursday evening to get 3 spots for our family outing. It was a bit noisy with all the 4 wheelers, and utv's but that is to be expected. We really enjoyed this spot and would stay again.

Great group site

Not sure if this site is even open currently due to fire damage in recent years. When open it has a nice group camping feel. Creek runs along side campground for great swimming with kids. It is close to highway so you need to watch your small kids. Does have toilets. Even though you reserve entire area people tend to pull in and ask if the can still stay in campground with you. The big positive though is that it’s a group space.
