Goldbug Hot Springs Dispersed near Elk Bend

The sagebrush-and-juniper canyon country of central Idaho's Salmon River corridor holds this roadside dispersed area, just minutes from the Goldbug Hot Springs trailhead on Idaho Department of Lands. Several wide, flat pullouts line the dirt road, roomy enough for large rigs, and the area sees little overnight traffic. Expect open skies, the occasional passing rancher, and a good chance of wildlife at dawn.
