Great for backcountry people.

The sites are private and spacious and there is access to the river water. For the sake of the name bring your dog and have a good time. Make sure you know where you are going on your way up here because it’s easy to get lost.

This area is very mellow and is a great area for bird watching as there’s not a lot of people or traffic in this area. The ground is covered with gravel for driving and is soil covered with evergreen needles on the sites themselves. You don’t have to go through and clear rocks in these areas. It’s a win win if you like that dispersed camping feel.

Spacious site!

Nicely spaced out sites! Pet and family friendly. Short drive to a beautiful lake or river with hot springs. Clean outhouse bathrooms, no showers. Friendly hosts. There is currently no water hookups due to COVID. Seems to be a popular area, so recommend reservations, but we got lucky and found a site on a Friday.
