I grew up in the mountains of idaho have been camping my whole life.

Cool old cabin

This is an old guard station and is staffed part of the year with volunteers. Camping is available nearby as well

Cool area not far from orofino creek

Generally busy. If you find it empty it a cool spot to camp good shady areas in large timbered area

nice little camp

great place to camp if your looking to boat on the Clearwater river. has tent and RV sites and a nice beach to relax on or let the kids take a swim also has a boat launch

cool place but very busy

highly recommend a reservation being this. is a very busy national park campground. very scenic and beautiful

awesome place to stay and popular place for fly fishing

great place to visit to avoid big crowds at least when I was there it wasn't busy very scenic

no running water but overall a great place to camp. beautiful area with plenty to keep you from being bored

no fee camp is beautiful

has a lodge within a mile of camp and this camp is very cool need to visit again

great little camp in canyon bottom

great trail for hiking and exploring. this camp is not heavily used so you could possibly get the place to yourself. lots of shade great place to go get away

heavily used camp

this camp is cool close to town and plenty to do. law enforcement patrols daily. and has tables and fire rings at all sites

low budget camp

6 bucks a nite has fire rings and tables at each site very beautiful here

great camp near a commercial hot springs

take a stroll on the Lewis and Clark trail and then relax at the hot springs before strolling back into camp this is a fee site but well worth it love this campground

crowded usually

located near elk river must stop in town for a huckleberry milkshake or soft serve cones best ever downfalls are it's usually full or close to it. lots of recreation available

high country mountain lake camp

great time visiting I love the high elevation lakes for fishing not really into pay sites but this one is cool

4 site camp

kinda small but great place to set up a base camp for exploring the wilderness next to the camp

loved the camp kinda small so hope there is a spot if your going

peaceful and beautiful

had a great time here it was secluded and peaceful with plenty to do will return
