Description
A narrow two-track spurs off West Magic Road into a quiet BLM parcel along the Big Wood River in south-central Idaho, where the only sounds are flowing water and rustling cottonwoods. The site sits close enough to the river that the current masks any road noise, and the water can be filtered for camp use when the river is running — flow depends on upstream reservoir releases and can drop to nothing by late summer. The access track is short and gentle enough for low-clearance two-wheel-drive vehicles, though rigs that make it back have the run of a clean, open site. Nearby Black Magic Canyon is worth exploring on foot.
