River Vista RV Park
About
Escape from the noise and heat of the city. Whether staying in our RV park or one of our rental cabins, you and your family will enjoy the upscale amenities, well maintained facilities and grounds, and fun activities for everyone.
Our RV park is located in northern Georgia near the border of North Carolina, at the confluence of the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountains. The resort is near many natural attractions including the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
River Vista Cabin Resort and RV Campground is nestled in a valley surrounded by all natural wonders of perfect backpacking country. Go find a ruby or sapphire at one of the many gem mines or take a hike around Tallulah Gorge State Park. River Vista and Rabun County are home to waterfalls galore, vineyards (12 Spies), distilleries (Moonrise and RM Rose), museums (Foxfire and Scottish Tartan), and “pick-your-own” farms and orchards (Osage, Jaemor, Hillside, and Chattooga Belle). In the winter, take a sleigh ride at the Dillard House Stables, go snow tubing at Scaly Mountain Snow Tubing, and enjoy some skiing or snowboarding at Maggie Valley. Then, take a day to explore the Biltmore Estate in historic Asheville, NC and in all its holiday splendor. See more reviews HERE

Great park
Lots of space between sites, clean all around, great staff, nice pool. Great area to see water falls etc.
Repeat Campers
This is our second visit to this campground. We like it so much our second visit is for a 30 day duration to escape the heat of the Atlanta ares. Grounds are very well maintained, the office staff is very professional, and quiet hours are respected. Great central location and wonderful for day trips.
Could be a Solid 4 or 5, but not yet.
Because of the courteous staff and campers, nice events offered, beautiful area, nice pool, dog park, and spa amenities, I gave this campground a 4. However, after being assured our lot along 246 would be quiet, I was quite disappointed and got poor sleep. Lots of road noise. Would not stay near 246 again. Also, very frustrated with the almost non-existent Wifi. Couldn't download much of anything or post anything or watch anything. If you advertise Wifi, it should have much better coverage throughout the campground and inside the RVs. You could pay to upgrade, but I couldn't access that and felt it wasn't right to do such. The creeks are a disappointment. Yes, they are there, but not really scenic or accessible or made to be scenic and accessible by clearing areas or putting park benches up etc. I recommend staying far from 246, asking what areas are better for WiFI, and take advantage of the amenities and the outside beauty of the area around.
