Repeat Campers

This is our second visit to this campground. We like it so much our second visit is for a 30 day duration to escape the heat of the Atlanta ares. Grounds are very well maintained, the office staff is very professional, and quiet hours are respected. Great central location and wonderful for day trips.

Could be a Solid 4 or 5, but not yet.

Because of the courteous staff and campers, nice events offered, beautiful area, nice pool, dog park, and spa amenities, I gave this campground a 4.  However, after being assured our lot along 246 would be quiet, I was quite disappointed and got poor sleep.  Lots of road noise.  Would not stay near 246 again.  Also, very frustrated with the almost non-existent Wifi.  Couldn't download much of anything or post anything or watch anything.  If you advertise Wifi, it should have much better coverage throughout the campground and inside the RVs.  You could pay to upgrade, but I couldn't access that and felt it wasn't right to do such.  The creeks are a disappointment.  Yes, they are there, but not really scenic or accessible or made to be scenic and accessible by clearing areas or putting park benches up etc.  I recommend staying far from 246, asking what areas are better for WiFI, and take advantage of the amenities and the outside beauty of the area around.

From the most part this is a very nice and clean park that’s well maintained. However we paid for what they called a Super Premium Pull Thru and it was anything but. Very narrow, no room to put anything out. No shade with afternoon sun on the passenger side of our Motorhome making it unbearable to be outside. It also took three days for them to cut the grass. will not say it’s a park you should not visit as the surrounding area is gorgeous and the food we had at local restaurants was outstanding.

Everything but a fire ring.

We had a relaxing time on this camping trip. So much so I even took a nap! The staff was super friendly and the campground was nice and clean. There is an outdoor pool with hot tub, and an indoor heated pool for adults. There is a fireplace with wood and lighter so you can start your own fire by rocking chairs. There are no fire rings at the campsites. If you need a fire to cook with and didn't bring your own there are a number of grills there that you can use. The wifi was free, but perhaps not secure. There is a workout room, a playground, a comfy clubhouse and activities for all ages. The roads are paved and easy to walk. There are waterfalls and an old covered bridge in nearby Sky Valley. I found it a good place to relax, but knew there were things to do if I got bored. It's very accommodating.
