Serene and much to explore

I love staying here. After full-timing since October, this is the first place we have come back to. The park is so clean, has many trails and you have pretty big spaces available to camp.

Only downfall is that we didn’t have sewer hookup, but that

A pretty stay in TN

We stayed here for a week. Their wifi is very slow and hardly any cell service. They do have a nice pool and a cute barn. They have a nice place for the kids to play in the field with a play ground. We accidentally tripped the circuit breaker and the owner came and helped right away.

Best Thousand Trails park

Hands down, the best Thousand Trails campgrounds I’ve been to. I have visited several since we got the membership and I had been hugely disappointed…until now.

It has such a family feel and beautiful grounds, beautiful lake, and easy hook up camp sites. I had no trouble getting into our spot. We visited over the 4th of July weekend and they had all sorts of activities going on. Bingo, parade, fireworks, hotdogs and more!

Stop over haven

This is a nice place to linger while driving through Texas. While windy, it was pleasant.

The owners are very particular about things and have $50 fines for parking on the grass, leaving masks on the ground, not picking up after your per etc. Even after the threats, we still enjoyed our stay.

They have a pool, cafe, laundry rooms, and a dog park.

The Roadrunner Cafe was excellent and was a comforting meal after a long day on the road!

Serene, surburban feel

We stayed here a few days and enjoyed the cleanliness, gentle vibe the place offered.

There are great perks to staying here if just wanting to chill in the RV. But, it’s also close to the nearby attractions such as, the Alamo, The Mission state park and the River Walk. We enjoyed the amenities and the quiet gentle vibes of the RV park.

Perks include: pool tables, pickle ball, hot tub, pool and tennis courts!

Overall, I can’t imagine you would be disappointed unless you were expecting some large acre nature RV park, but it’s downtown and quiet…what more could you ask for!?

Great River camping

We stayed here and were the only people in the park. We stayed along the River and swam. No sewage, no alcohol…but the owners are super friendly and helpful. It was a great spot to just be in nature.

Gorgeous, immaculate Campground

We are full time RVers and this place blew us away with all the gorgeous nature, large, private campsites and it’s cleanliness. Cannot recommend enough.

Quiet, clean site

Stayed the night here while Traveling. They have easy pull through spots (you choose your location) and the site is clean and quiet.

10 minutes away is a town you can get groceries and eat out at restaurants.

Pretty good wifi, no password needed.

A great place to stay for a short time

This is a nice, clean campground to stay while traveling. There are close restaurants nearby and decent bathrooms which seemed newly renovated.

They had dog walking areas too. Everything was clean and had a good feel to it.

Great, clean park with many amenities

This is a great energy park for a city RV park. The pool is heated (although still cold in January). The bathhouses are nice and clean. It is very clean and just an overall nice place to stay with dogs and kids. They have a dog park for the dogs and playground for the kids!

A super poor RV park with trash and rednecks living there.

Okay, this is definitely an experience to stay here. If you are looking for a luxury or even moderate RV park, don’t stay here. However if you are someone who can find the diamond in the rough…go here. The owners are super nice and there is a bar on the park that is kickin! Everyone you meet in the bar will be your best friend before you know it and you’re gonna be hugging them and Facebook friending them on your way out.

Serene....

Local area lacks activities, but this park is a peace goldmine!

Amazing scenery

This place is absolutely beautiful. The birds migrating and stopping along the river make for such a relaxing and peaceful place to stop and relax. The town neighboring the park makes it difficult to do anything because there is not much there unless you plan on driving 30+ minutes away. However, the setting more than makes up for that.

Pack'em in!

This place is tight.   Not in the Urban Dictionary meaning of tight, but in the actual meaning of tight.  It's hard to tell if there are more trees or RVs on the property.  It appears that many of the RVs there are long-term, permanent residents; wood porches, lots of yard items, etc.  The roads to the site was hard to navigate due to the amount of vehicles parked along the roads.  However, the sites were great angles and easy to maneuver into and out of.  One nice perk about the park was the trash pick-up three times per day.   Nice not to have to trek to the dumpster throughout the day.

What a beautiful place

This place is so quiet and peaceful. We fully enjoyed be able to relax by the creek and watch the water flow by. If you are looking for a quiet, reflective park this is the place. There are some pull-thru spots, but we opted for the creek view and you should too! The reason for the 4 stars is there is free WiFi, but it is more for show than for use; very slow and unreliable. Also, the shower rooms are much in need of an update and be more available. We highly recommend this park for everyone to enjoy.
