Cute

I like the park. I'd stay here again. The folks are friendly, they have restaurants, lake beaches, plenty to do; however, it is TIGHT in here! I can't see anything in front of or behind, much less beside our camper. And $60/day to rent a golf cart? Like I said, it's nice, and it's friendly, and I would stay here again on a pass-thru, but not long term.

Mega-RV Resort Experience

If you like things BIG, then you’ll find a very comfortable spot to call home for a few days here at Flamingo Lake RV Resort, perfectly situated in Northern Florida, just a bit above Jacksonville on the beltway. Whether enroute from JAX to a nearby destination or looking for a stopover heading north from Miami or south from anywhere else, Flamingo is a great layover for the RV going crowd. In fact, there are so many incredible amenities, you may actually make this a primary destination – from covering all the basics: water, septic and electric (30/50 amp) hook-ups, grills/ BBQ, picnic tables, perfectly paved level pads (accommodate up to 40 feet length, plus side slide out shades), nice shaded areas, well-maintained bath houses and spartan clean restrooms; to offering up a ton of bonuses: a number of sandy beachhead waterfronts (to a 17-acre lake), perfectly paved pathways and roadways (perfectly laid out for the non-stop parade of golf carts), superb market store stock with all of the basics and sundries, kid’s playgrounds, top-end dining at Flamingo Lake Sunrise Café, large-event pavilions, doggie parks, fishing piers, boat docks, umbrella-strewn patios, aquatic rentals and many other amenities.

Don’t have or want to live in an RV? No problem – this place offers up modern rental cabins that are either lakefront or have a very great view of the water. Insider’s tip? While this place seemingly has it all – I would strongly recommend you make it further afield to explore what is best along the Florida-Georgia line – like Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island and Ancient City (aka St. Augustine). Really, the only downside at all to this place is its proximity to I95, which may actually be one of its greatest assets, as it provides ultimate convenience – I just hope all the splashy amenities this place has to offer helps hush the non-stopping swoosh of nearby traffic!

Happy Camping!

Pretty good rv park

Stayed while visiting family. We got a site in the newer section. 90% of this park are people who live here. Quiet and the lots on the new side are way bigger than the lots on the older side. We don't mind driving over to do laundry because the sites are paved and bigger on the new side. Actually pretty decent gym which was a shocker! Not sure why someone else complained of wifi, it's actually pretty good, so not sure why they had an issue. Laundry room in good order no broken machines. All in all a good park for a few weeks while visiting family. Not very "campy" because most people in the park live here. More like a neighborhood.

Nice campground with a few cons

Very nice campground off major access to 95. Very clean facilities. Awesome, affordable restuarant on a beautiful lake. Staff extrememly helpful and pleasant. Cons: absolutely no Wi-Fi service. Some sites are right off rte 295 and are very noisy. Majority of sites just grass, gravel and sand (but level)

Very Nice Facility

We had a site(194) on the lake, very clean and spacious with a deck on the lake. Across the way, at night, the shore and lake fountains were lit with beautiful lights. Bathrooms were very clean, but not numerous. They had Bingo on our first night of arrival. Unfortunately, during our three day stay, we had a Nor'easter. It rained and blew hard during the entire trip, except when we packed up to leave. It was not the fault of the Campground, just our dumb luck. We camped at Flamingo Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Great RV camp

Had a great time. Only thing I’d say is it would be nice to have a fire pit/ring at each site. I’m not sure if there is a fire code or something that prevents it so it may not be feasible. Other than that the amenities were great, the staff was really nice, it’s close to a wal-mart and other food places as well.

Great place for my travel trailer

Some people say the managers are rude but personally I never had a problem I think if everyone treated everybody the way they wanted to be treated there would be no problem. Great for my dogs for bike riding and they allow alcohol. Love it

RUDE MANAGERS!

I cannot believe the way the two managers talk to customers!  I was ignored for a day and after calling four time finally answered; I described the rudeness I was experiencing and she hung up on me!  Called back, asking how can a manager hang up on a customer?! She hung up again! No yelling or swearing, I just want to be heard about the attendees being rude!  Then, asked for the general Manager, even rider!  He hung up on me too and then threatened he was going to hang up on me again if I kept talking!!  Who talks to their customers like this?!  He told me I was a “mouth just talking” instead of listening to what I was saying.  Again, after being a professional career person for 20+ years, I was not used to being talke to like this.  STAY AWAY!! Rudeness alert!!!  Not too mention, the manager rides around drinking beer out of a blatant beer bottle before noon.  Unprofessional and rude!

The best park

We paid for a monthly sport for 860 a month including electric and cable. By far the nicest rv resort we have been to, has a lake and swimming area with a water jungle gym. We loved the restaurant and I actually ended up working there for a bit. Front desk staff could have been nicer... A couple of them. Also we put our name on the list to be moved and we were there for a while on a spot near the free way that we didn’t like. We never got moved and other did so that was frustrating. Shaded spot was nice. We loved that they have trash pick up daily right at your spot. They have dog walking bag stations with trash cans. The bathrooms are outdated but the were clean most of the time. Laundry room was a little hot, and little pricy. The part that we didn’t like was the side of town The Flamingo Resort is on a dangerous city, the Walmart was not safe at night. So it’s good as long as you stay in the gated rv resort and then drive to the nicer parts of Jacksonville.

Swimming is great!

Flamingo lake is a blast, most notably for the inflatable slides. The kids go absolutely crazy and can’t get enough of the water park area. You can stay the night on your RV or cabin, but be sure to book it far in advance. You can also visit for the day. The beach area is great for picnics and swimming. The have a restaurant on the other side of the lake. Bathrooms are located near the beach.

Fun to be Had!

This resort is a fun trip to take with the kids. The sites are packed and close together but the amenities and incredible water slides make up for it.

Nice RV Resort

Stayed here for 2 nights, very nice place. I liked the spots by the lake. Big inflatable play spot in the lake also has swan boats. Had breakfast at the restaurant one morning very good. They have concerts every Saturday night.

A gem 💎 in Jacksonville!!

The clear water of the lake and the tranquil atmosphere may this campground a great place to camp any time of year. The activities keep you busy and the lake and pool offer options for relaxing. Staff members are helpful and friendly. Site range for paved with cement slabs to gravel off dirt. Great music, bingo, poker and karaoke are a few of the evening choices. Conveniently location off 95 and 295. Stop in, you will not regret it.

Lots to do here

This campground is located right off the interstate in Jacksonville, FL There is a lake to swim in with blow-up water slides, etc. Campsites surround the lake and there is a restaurant there and live music. Also, have a large building to gather for activities, a storage area for RVs. It is very convenient but you do hear the cars on the interstate nearby.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do reviews say about Flamingo Lake RV Resort in Jacksonville?

Flamingo Lake RV Resort is generally well-regarded for its recreational offerings, particularly the water attractions that make it a hit with families. The clear lake, inflatable water slides, and swimming areas receive consistent praise. Many visitors appreciate the tranquil atmosphere, despite the proximity to I-295. The sites vary in quality - some are paved with cement slabs while others are gravel or dirt, and lakefront sites with decks are particularly sought after. Staff experiences are mixed, with some finding them very helpful and others noting inconsistent service. The resort's cleanliness is frequently highlighted as a positive feature.

What amenities are available at Flamingo Lake RV Resort in Jacksonville, Florida?
