We stayed here for a week on spring break. It was a very nice campground with well kept sites. We were close to the front pool area. There was a small pond area near our site that people could fish in. The park has been expanded and many of the amenities are now located closer to the new section which made it inconvenient to get to without driving over in the truck unless you have a golf cart. There was a tennis court on that side as well as another pool and recreation room but we did not use those. There was a laundry area on our side which we used and was nice. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The campground is very close to the air port so there were planes flying over all the time but it wasn’t bad. I was worried about not being able to sleep but had no issues.

This is our 2nd time in Jax. We stayed at flamingo lake last time and it was OK, pecan park is a million times better. All asphalt and cement, clean, well maintained with good amenities. No lake like flamingo, but that's OK, because at flamingo, when it rained it was so muddy because the sites were all just grass and dirt. Pecan is one exit from the airport, so expect alot of plane noises and flyover by the airforce. Wifi pretty good. Lots of activities like pot lucks, food trucks and cocktail hours. No riff rafff here like at flamingo. Way too much rowdiness and drunker over there. Quiet here. Mainly working couples and families with young children.

I would have given 5 stars but a couple of issues hindered that decision. For the $$$ per night we were not able to use the cable TV as it was being worked on while we were there as well as the wifi was down. No compensation was offered. We had to request a picnic table and no fire pit or ring available on the site. Pad was large enough, just, for our 42ft rig and truck. Water pressure was adequate at 50 psi. Park is large clean and well maintained, great dog park, pool, very close to I95. One exit down has a ton of shopping and places to eat. Airport very close so be ready to hear plains landing everyday. Local flee market next door. Beaches are a 30min drive but worth the ride. Overall it was a little pricey for this particular park.

Stayed there 4 nights, drove to Amelia island about 30 min away.

Nice place except for the planes and jets. Wake you in the night..

Conveniently located on route between Destin and Savannah, because it’s just north of Jacksonville and did not require going into the city. Park looks fairly new with clean, level paved sites and smooth roads. Easy access into and around the park for big rigs and the premium spots towards the front are worth it. Cottages look very nice and new. Clean dog parks (two) with agility course near the front entrance. My site 503 is on the catch and release pond which is the side of the park to choose if you want the waterfront scenery. Laundry facility looks very nice although I did not use it. I also did not venture to their Expansion park, but there is a clubhouse there. Based on what I did see, I would assume the facilities that I missed, like the showers, are pretty nice too. Room for improvement would be providing recycling service as there is none here.
