The location was great! The park was huge and a mix of permanent homes and trailers. The RV spots were nice because each one had a porch and our spot had nice landscaping so it felt private. However there were a lot of spots and they were pretty close together.
This is a mix of semi perm residents and travelers passing through. Beach at low tide is great for riding bikes on the sand. They have 2 pools and the staff is friendly. They have daily trash pick up and wifi (which only worked logging in with my phone). ATT and T-mobile service are 5 bars. 7 miles to downtown St. Augustine which is a great day trip. They have cement pads and most are level (Spot 22 was not). This can be an advantage however if/when it rains. The best part is the covered patios with picnic tables to hang out in. There is a lot to do in this area and has endless food/sports bar options close by. You can also drive the beach if you have 4 wheel vehicles, however, I believe you need to get a beach permit to do so. Originally was to be here for 2 nights and extended based on good weather and location. Also, you can wash your RV here with a 10$ permit that can be purchased at the management office.
Nice place, lots of locals and long term campers. The site we had (211) was kinda tight and irregular but easy to get in and out of. Had some power issues, outdated.
If you are looking to stay at a beachside RV resort with a large pool look no further! There are two pools: a large pool for everyone and a smaller adult only pool with hot tub. The location is perfect with several restaurants and a grocery store close by. Review the map before selecting your site as some are tight but many are pull thru making it easier. The roads are dirt and hold water after a rain but nothing major. Site #81 is a pull-thru/back-out site that is close to the beach walkway. This site has a covered patio with a picnic table. Our 26' travel trailer fit plus a vehicle with no problem. We will definitely be back!
