Trailing Edge Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations at Trailing Edge Park are handled online, with no on-site office or host, so arriving without a confirmed booking is a gamble. The park sits in Limon, Colorado, and caters largely to longer-term residents, giving it more of a residential RV community feel than a traditional campground. Full hookups including electric, water, and sewer are available, and the park accommodates rigs up to 100 feet. Reviewers note the absence of restrooms, showers, a dump station, and laundry on-site. A creek runs adjacent to the property, though it has drawn complaints about odor and mosquitoes. Campers who need only a place to plug in and sleep overnight will find it functional; those expecting amenities beyond hookups and a lawn area should look elsewhere.

Wait, I need to recheck: I linked "Limon" to the Limon KOA URL, which is a nearby campground, not the city. That's incorrect. Let me also check word count and rewrite properly.

Reservations at Trailing Edge Park are handled entirely online, with no on-site office or host present. The park caters largely to longer-term residents, giving it a residential RV community feel. Full hookups including electric, water, and sewer accommodate rigs up to 100 feet, but reviewers consistently note the absence of restrooms, showers, a dump station, and laundry facilities. A creek runs along the property; it has drawn complaints about odor and mosquitoes near the lawn area. Campers needing only hookups and a place to sleep will find it workable. Those expecting standard campground amenities should consider Limon KOA just down the road, or browse campgrounds near Hugo for more options in the region.

Clean and level

Just needed a spot to hook up for the night in Limon. It appears that it’s a spot for short time residents mostly. Easy to pull in and has full hookups. 4 big rigs are pulled in.

Quiet and Clean, but not much else

We arrived late in the day, there is no reception or office, but that worked in our favor coming in late. The creek next to the campground smelled awful, and even though there was a nice lawn area for the dog, it was swarming with Mosquitoes. We nearly got eaten alive. Also there were no amenities on site like bathrooms, showers, Laundry etc. A basic place to park and sleep.

Basic services, reasonably priced

A small RV park that seems to cater to longer term residents. It was quiet and comfortable and I only stayed one night. I did not see restrooms, showers, dump station, trash disposal, etc. Check in was all online and I never knew if there were camp hosts or managers.
