The Home Depot — Castle Rock

Stayed here two nights. First night I slept well and wasn't bothered. Second night I got a knock from the local police. Apparently people like to steal the Penske trucks that are here sometimes. Felt on edge a bit after that. Otherwise a comfortable place to stay overnight and no one else bothered me. Police officer was kind and just wanted to make sure I wasn't some sketch ball.

Well, it’s a Home Depot parking lot. But seems fairly chill and safe for one nighters passing through. God bless and safe travels!

We called ahead and asked if we could park our motorhome overnight in their lot. The csr put me on hold to ask management; when she came back she said it was ok for up to 2 nights. We only stayed one but greatly appreciate the openness. Lot is clean, area is quiet aside from normal traffic noise. Please respect this spot, don’t leave trash, pick up after your dogs, and don’t over stay. Manager also requests overnighters park near the back of the lot, we parked far from the le store and beyond the garden section ^.^
