Price gouging during events

Used to love camping here in the orchards but the pricing is no longer worth it and the gouging during events is BS, greed.  +$30 premium for a primative tent site during Cider Fest, after fees and taxes you're looking at $84 a night, to put up a tent.

No amenities but next to orchard, restaurant, activities

Campsites are a small piece of grassy area next to a pond or on an outside loop. Portable toilets only. Traffic noise at night. But was fun being next to a working orchard, a great restaurant with delicious food and a little store. Lots of outdoor seating. There are also special events on the property such as festivals, concerts, etc. it’s rather fun.

Not a good place to camp

Overpriced for a place with no utilities, no showers, port a potty was nasty, they gave me a reservation for a spot that already had people in it. The camp spots at the pond are all right next to one another, as in you will here everything the next camp is saying. Bugs are outrageous do to the all the fruit trees , I would assume.

SiteI payed for P6 , however , other campers were in it

Unique location, right mix of natural beauty and amenities

My family of 4 had a great time at Big B's. Our only complaint was that it was quite hot (topped out near 100 degrees). The prepared food and cider were tasty, we got some fresh fruit and processed items to bring along with us (the peaches were amazing!). Our kids aged 8 and 11 absolutely loved the big tree swings.

We camped by the pond in a tent. You're pretty close to the next tent out there. The orchard and field areas were wide open and if we needed more privacy we could have moved to an orchard location. The ground is fairly uneven in most of the camping spots we saw.

The drawback with the heat was that the pond wasn't really the kind of place you'd want to swim and the river is fenced off. If we could have had a way to swim that would have made the heat more bearable.

A suggestion: Bring quarters for the showers, which are clean and work well, but you need quarters for them. The shop is only open during business hours of ~9 or 10 in the morning until 8 PM at night. They also have a few hoses for drinking water if you need it. There are no hookups for electronics or sewer disposal.

They have 2 "tiny house" style units that were just built and 2 platforms with large canvas tents in progress that seem like wonderful options if you want a low hassle and more comfortable/bigger tent experience.

Not foe rv or trailers!

Pulled in saw trailers and went to wrong area finally figured out where to go. Got to site and turned into 6 inches of mud! This place is not set up for trailers or rv’s maybe van would be ok. We ended up having to go to another place…hoping to get money back!

Unique camping experience!

Not wilderness camping by any means, but a fun stop for a road trip for sure! Big B’s has a full restaurant (the chili cheese fries were amazing), lots of cider varieties on tap and to go. Live music some nights.

You can tent camp amidst the apple trees (literally in the rows nestled under the trees), park your rig in a grassy field with picnic tables and fire pits, or even stay in a cabin. Shower house with flush toilets near the shop. The store sells firewood.

We had fun!

What amenities are available at Big B's Delicious Orchards Campground?

The Campground at Big B's Delicious Orchards offers basic, primitive camping facilities. Amenities include portable toilets (no showers), grassy camping areas either by a pond or in an outer loop, and camping spots nestled among apple trees in the orchard. The property features a full restaurant, a store selling fresh fruit and processed items, and outdoor seating areas. Note that the campground has limited utilities for RVs and trailers, making it more suitable for tent camping or possibly vans. Water access may be available, but expect a more rustic experience than a full-service campground.

What do other campers say about Big B's Delicious Orchards Campground?

Camper experiences at Big B's Delicious Orchards vary widely. Many praise the unique experience of camping among apple trees and appreciate the excellent food at the restaurant, especially the fresh peaches and cider varieties. Families with children typically enjoy their stay. However, some note challenges including minimal facilities (only portable toilets), sites that can become muddy after rain, significant bug activity near the pond, and traffic noise at night. The campground receives criticism for its pricing relative to the primitive amenities offered, particularly during special events when rates increase substantially.

What activities can I enjoy at Big B's Delicious Orchards besides camping?

Big B's Delicious Orchards offers numerous activities beyond camping. You can enjoy their full-service restaurant with tasty menu items like chili cheese fries, sample various ciders on tap, shop at their store for fresh seasonal fruit (especially renowned peaches), and purchase take-home processed goods.
