The location provides four bars of Verizon cell service and allows campfires when fire restrictions aren't in effect.
Traffic noise from the highway remains minimal, and the county road sees little use. Most sites include established fire rings, though campers must pack out all trash. The area works well for overnight stops between destinations, with room typically available even on weekend nights.
