Dispersed camping along a trailhead access road in San Isabel National Forest, Shirley Site Trailhead Basecamp sits within a broader corridor of Marshall Pass Dispersed and several other nearby dispersed sites. Road access is a noted factor here, so a high-clearance vehicle is worth considering before heading in. One camper found a tent-sized flat area with a fire pit already in place. This drive-in site works best for self-sufficient campers comfortable with minimal amenities and no developed infrastructure.
