Hikers, anglers, and OHV riders have several reasons to base out of Poncha Pass Dispersed, a free BLM site along Marshall Pass Road near O'Haver Lake. No tables, no trash service. Pack everything in and out. The road has large rolling bumps, so RVs up to 35 feet should crawl through slowly. Poncha Creek runs alongside the drive in, and San Luis Creek BLM Dispersed near Poncha Pass sits just over a mile east for additional options. Come prepared with water and firewood, as no services exist on site.
Description
Please remember to LNT in dispersed areas and respect "no camping" signs. There are no toilets here so be prepared to dispose of waste appropriately.
