Description
Open meadow country in the San Juan National Forest northeast of Bayfield, Colorado, this dispersed site sits just off FR 755.A2 (Jackson Road) at around 7,000 feet. The clearing is quiet and open, with a rock fire ring already in place and enough room to accommodate larger rigs. Some surface ruts exist at the site, so high-clearance helps on wet ground.
