Description
Hangin Tree Road (FR 10.A) winds through forested slopes of Pike National Forest near the old mining village of Alma, offering a handful of dispersed pullouts among the trees at roughly 10,600 feet elevation. The road is rough and best suited to high-clearance rigs, with limited satellite connectivity where the tree canopy is dense. A couple of pullouts are scattered along the corridor — the one closest to CR 10 tends to get claimed first.
