Was able to find a spot in the dark and get set up away from people and close to the lake. Camping was peaceful but the best part was the pictures I got of the lake and the night sky. I was woken up quite early from a passing train so if you plan to sleep in good luck.
Nice location away from mass population
We lucked out with this campground staying over Labor Day weekend. Our site (#49) was at the west end of the campground and relatively secluded with a full park. I would think non-holiday weekends would also be crowded, but would thin out during the week. Dry camping, so come prepared. Other than…
Close to highway and cheap! $5-$10 donation recommended.
Site are good size & level . Clean laundry room/ mailroom. Clean showerhouse/restrooms. Has a small dog park. Park is well maintained and clean. Mary and everyone in the office is friendly and very helpful at all times. We got here in January 2013 and will be here for a while longer.
We called the reservations number, listed on the app. Spoke with 2 different people that seemed to have no knowledge of the possibility of camping here. The 2⭐️⭐️ are only because we just couldn’t find the place.
We followed the map via the app and it led us to an area surrounding by cornfields, which would’ve been lovely. However, this place is on the other side of town next to a fairgrounds, and a construction site. The park(fairgrounds) adjacent is nice, but... A plus is wifi and bathrooms had soap,…
We stopped overnight and loved the pull-through sites of the inlet grove sites. Last night we awoke to a chorus of howling coyotes.
I would stick to the sites furthest from the water because the geese were very loud and honk non-stop.
Very tidy campground. No running water in the bathrooms but…

Not the prettiest site but close to many stores, Interesting landmarks and small town charm. They have activities in the summer like mudpit volleyball and movies in the park. Very safe area for my brood . We enjoyed the community pool and the clean playground.

This place is definitely off the beaten path and so worth it! I managed to get a spot on a cliff overlooking the picnic, bathroom and trail head area with a great view of the buttes. I could see other campers, which made me feel a bit more comfortable as I was alone, so if anything happened, there…

It was very busy and took a lot of driving around to find a potential spot. But I eventually found a very good spot that was away from many of the other campers. Primarily RVs camped all along the road and perimeter surrounding the reservoir. Very buggy but other than that it's very pretty. There…

Great small beaches to swim. Lots of people very popular spot but also lots of sites to park. Free but with a donation of $5 suggested. Windy so no bugs
City of Brush Campground was a perfect spot for us. We spent one night at a cost of $25.00 per night. This includes 30 amp electricity, water, wifi and a dump station. The city is using a new automated system and it is located at the entrance to the campground. There's a city park, pool and a very…

The camping spots along Pawnee Butte Trailhead Road are absolutely perfect. They have wonderful views of the grasslands and the buttes. The biggest downside is there are a lot of giant windmills, oil pumps, and fracking operations in the area. Very difficult to ignore them as no matter where you…

This is a large, well maintained, campground situated on a beautiful lake. It is a short hop off from I-80 on state route 30 and could not seem further from the interstate! The only drawback we saw was the trains passing by periodically. There are three entrances, any of which will lead you to a…
