Each site has plenty of room for slide-outs and tow vehicles. Those who stay longer will enjoy the spotless bathrooms with tiled showers and private dressing areas, the air-conditioned laundry room, free high-speed wireless internet access (WiFi), our playground and all the other amenities.
On-site recreational activities for the entire family include a playground with slides, climbers, swings, and a rock-climbing wall for the kids and a splash pad water feature with water jets. Our recreation room features a TV, pinball, and video games.

ScoutTRAVELER BEWARE
TRAVELER BEWARE!!! This park uses bait-and-switch practices. First, the pictures posted on Junction West Grand Junction’s website are not representative of the park. This park is filled with permanent residents, skirted trailers, and lots of“stuff” clogging up sites and roads. Second, confirmations and guaranteed reservations mean nothing to Junction West. We had a 3-night, paid-in-full confirmed and guaranteed stay in a standard pull-through site for our 35’ rig. Upon arrival we were directed to a small back-in site that did not allow parking for our truck and it would have been impossible to back the rig in due to all of the vehicles parked on the streets. Junction West was unable to honor our reservation without moving us at least once to different sites in our 3-night stay. This was unacceptable and forced us to go elsewhere. Junction West refused to fully refund us for their mistake. They did, however, refund 2 of the 3 nights and sent an altered confirmation back to us– BAIT-AND-SWITCH. The only bright spot in this interaction was the park we found as an alternative, Canyon West, was amazing. Canyon West RV Park is 10 times better FOR THE SAME PRICE as Junction WEST.

Idyllic campground alongside Animas river against beautiful mountains. Very close proximity to Swiss Alps of America and downtown Durango. Wifi is great, just not in some of the spots further away from office. Showers are nice as well.

ScoutBasic, friendly site in an industrial area
This is a basic RV site with lots of gravel and a few trees. It’s in an industrial area. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the office closes early at 6 o’clock. There is a playground for kids and a splash pad that was working.

From Denver and the East - Interstate 70 to exit #26 (22 Road). Turn RIGHT on Highway 6 & 50 toward Fruita. Go 1/4 mile and turn right on 22 Road. We are ½ mile north on 22 Road on the left. The park is located at the corner of 22 Road and H Road. From Utah and the West - Interstate 70 to exit #26 (22 Road). Turn LEFT on Highway 6 & 50, under the interstate, toward Fruita. Go 1/4 mile and turn right on 22 Road. We are ½ mile north on 22 Road on the left. The park is located at the corner of 22 Road and H Road.
