Grizzly Creek Rest Area

Grizzly Creek Rest Area is a CDOT-managed highway rest area set below I-70 on the bank of the Colorado River inside Glenwood Canyon, open year-round for one-night vehicle stays. Restrooms with running water and a drinking-water bottle-fill station are available on-site, along with picnic tables and trash receptacles. The main parking lot accommodates vehicles up to approximately 22 feet; larger rigs typically park along the roadside pullout. Expect persistent highway noise and occasional train sound overnight; cell service is limited.
