Nice FF alternative to Island Lake CG

This CG is a much tighter site campground (no big RVs or 5th wheels IMO) than Island Lake CG nearby. Little Bear CG is all FF, and has about 34 sites. Vault toilets, water spigots, and dumpsters. $20/$10 senior. CG Host onsite, firewood for sale $10. Cell signal limited to none. I use…

Good, relaxing vaca

Great place to go. Always enjoy camping in Grand Mesa. It’s not as busy as the Front Range and most spots are easy to get to

Wonderful spot

I pulled up early on a Friday morning and managed to snag a spot pretty close to the lake. Fantastic view and right next to the walking trails. The camp sights are spaced out enough but there isn't a much for privacy. The scenery makes it all worth it though. Unfortunately the spot I was in, was…

From Cedaredge, CO, take State Rt. 65 north 15.7 miles to campground sign (Forest Rt. 116). Turn left at sign onto Rt. 116 (gravel) and go 0.8 miles to another campground sign. Turn right just before sign into campground.
