Accessible via rough forest roads, Hidden Valley operates as a US Forest Service campground within Gunnison National Forest from June through September. The forested sites sit near a creek, providing basic toilet facilities for campers willing to navigate the challenging access route.
Located roughly 10 miles from town, this established campground serves as a base for exploring the surrounding national forest terrain. The rough road conditions require high-clearance vehicles and careful driving, particularly during wet conditions. Campers should pack all supplies before heading in, as the remote location means limited opportunities for resupply once at the site.
