Fishing enthusiasts will find direct access to the Colorado River at this Bureau of Land Management boat launch site near Silt. The campground provides concrete picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets, though campers must pack out all trash since no dumpsters are available. Sites sit on sloped terrain surrounded by sagebrush with minimal shade coverage.
Train traffic passes close by with horn blasts occurring multiple times during nighttime hours. Wildlife activity is common throughout the area, and cell phone service is unavailable. The no-pets policy restricts animal companions. For those wanting more amenities, Pinball Point BLM Camp offers an alternative southwest of here.
