Bureau of Land Management

This site provides four campsites with picnic tables and BBQ stands or fire rings. No restroom provided and all cat holes must be at least 100 yards (75 Steps) from the river. Access by boat or narrow dirt road (trailers not recommended) south of State Bridge Landing. For more information, please contact the Colorado River Field Office. Directions

Take I-70 Exit 157 at Wolcott. Travel north .2 miles to stop sign. Turn west onto frontage road (Highway 6) for .4 miles. Turn north onto Highway 131 and follow to State Bridge for 10.6 miles. Nice group spot

This place is very windy. You can book lakeside or fireside. Lake has composting toilets and a large pavilion. The fire side has vault toilets and a nice group fire pit. This place has to be booked well in advance unless you are looking for a week day stay. It is $232 a night.
