Within PSICC National Forest, Belle Of Colorado — Psicc operates as a tent-only campground along the shores of Turquoise Lake. The USDA Forest Service manages this first-come, first-served facility, which costs $24 per night with an additional $7 fee for each vehicle beyond the first two. The campground features approximately 20 sites arranged in two loops, all situated beneath a canopy of lodgepole pines.
Sites are well-spaced and accommodate multiple tents, with some positioned just steps from the lake's sandy beach. The pine canopy provides shade during daytime hours and helps block wind coming off the water. Water spigots and clean restrooms serve the campground, along with trash dumpsters. Food storage requires using vehicles at night, as bear boxes are not provided.
The adjacent beach offers space for swimming, paddleboarding, and sand volleyball. A trail circles Turquoise Lake, suitable for mountain biking or hiking. Marie W. notes the campground has "water on site and great clean bathrooms." The nearby Baby Doe campground accommodates RVs, though generator noise can carry between the two areas during evening hours.
Book extra days if possible—many campers extend their stays once they experience the lakefront access and shaded sites.

Overview
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service.
