Tucalota Springs RV Resort & Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Tucalota Springs RV Resort & Campground, a private, full-hookup campground outside Hemet, California, with electric, water, and sewer connections and a 50-foot RV length limit. Sites have shade and are well-maintained, according to multiple visitors. The staff gets consistent praise across reviews spanning several years.

One practical detail worth noting before arrival: cell service is limited to nonexistent on the property, and WiFi connectivity is unreliable. Campers who depend on staying connected should plan accordingly. Those traveling with kids may find the disconnect a feature rather than a drawback, and on-site animals have been a draw for younger guests. The resort sits near California wine country, making it a reasonable base for day trips in the region, and those researching camping near Aguanga will find this property among the options in the area.

Speed bumps are numerous throughout the property and set at a 4.5 mph limit, which one reviewer noted still caused items to shift inside their RV's cabinets and refrigerator. Drivers with larger or air-ride rigs should move slowly and secure loose items before pulling through. Amenities include showers, toilets, a dump station, and drinking water. Nearby alternatives worth considering include Native Falls Campground and Indian Oaks Trailer Ranch, both roughly four miles west. Tucalota Springs suits campers who want full hookups, a staffed property, and a genuine break from screens.

Very pretty … but

Nice folks and a very pretty, well kept site. Limited or no internet service, no cell phone service - so if you need to contact friends or family think about these facts. If you have kids that need to get off their tablets/phones - stay here. Very close to Wine Country - a plus. The speed bumps (a bunch) made our “air ride” RV tumble everything in the fridge and cabinets even at the posted 4.5 mph!!
