Great beach spot

Great staff, clean, right on the beach, can hear the waves and walk right over onto the sand. Great beach spot, although backing in a trailer is a bit of a challenge/its a bit tight, but doable. Nice place to stay. Will return.

Too Tight, too close together, too expensive, basically just a parking lot

This place is always packed and hard to get into, months in advance or sneak a night here and there, just too close to the Big City. But this place is an absoulute Sh!t Show, every type of person camper, families and on and on.... but the beach is spectacular and it is a Fun place to hang out....just be in the mood for the Show

Great location, parking lot

We got lucky with a premium spot that opened up on the beach front. It was a gorgeous place to wake up! Definitely a festive tailgate-style vibe in the parking lot. You are close to your neighbors with no privacy but it was a great first stop for us out of LA. Easy walk into town for breakfast burritos!

Nice place but basically a parking lot

Beautiful place but it’s very densely packed. There’s a lot of nice sites but ours definitely isn’t one of them. We have a parking space that backs up to a sand hill with a picnic table. There isn’t a fire pit or anywhere to sit that’s not asphalt. The spots on the other side of this strip have grassy areas and more room. The campsite is close to downtown Carpinteria with stores, restaurants, and breweries. There’s also a playground onsite.
