Right off Hwy 50, but “miles away”

Having just bought a new vehicle (Subaru Crosstrek), and wanting to break her in on the first day, I headed east on Hwy 50. At about 330pm, I wanted to stop read the Owner’s Manual 😅 Gate was open, but this camp is not yet ready. Toilets still locked, water not turned on. But beautiful spots right on the river. Quite a bit snow still on the ground, with more expected tomorrow. Heavy forest & raging river drowned out most highway noise.
