Note that this site is permanently closed. The Salton Sea Palm Beach Dispersed Campground sat along the western shore of the Salton Sea, managed by the local irrigation district and free to use. It was a drive-in dispersed site with no formal infrastructure, though pets were permitted. Campers considering camping near Salton City will find the area still has options, including Salton City Beach roughly half a mile southeast.
