    Davis Camp Bullhead City AZ

Spent 4 days here last month and going back next week. Great place to stay during the off season when not crowded. There are 8 spaces with a river view but only have water and electric. Used the park showers to keep from filling our black tank. I do recommend this place.

    Camped right on the river

We stopped here on the way home as a 1 nighter.we stayed 3 days.ican see in summer or holiday weekends it could be a crazy busy place. We had a site right on the water and was mostly quiet. We were here mid-week in early may. So much fun. We rented PWCs just down river and parked them on the beach 20ft from our rv. The sites on the water are all dry sites and fcfs. Full hookups on the hill. Awesome views

    River Camping

If you are looking to camp on the Colorado River and you find yourself in Laughlin, NV, then Davis Camp Park is a good option. The spot right on the water are first come first serve. There are plenty of hookup sites.

    There are showers

There is a jet ski rental place located at the campground.

    Cell: Great

    Davis Camp

Stayed in B loop, spaces were nice and wide. Some have lots of trees but some have nothing. Some of the spaces nearest the river have a good water view but some are blocked by vegetation. No river access unless you’re in the loop closest to the swim beach. The beaches were VERY crowded so we had to get to the water early to secure a spot. It was also really windy so be prepared. Park was quiet in the evenings and the bugs weren’t too bad.

    Warm in winter

My trailer is a 31 ft tt somewhat windy but trees break up the wind. 24 a night, 12 with senior access. Decent size sites, clean bathroom showers. Verizon available but minimal Internet. Would come back. People stay up to 30 days.

    Very nice

Very clean, friendly staff. Campsites are just as expected. Roads are clearly marked and they supply you with a large map. The restrooms and showers were very clean.

Clean and LOTS of sites available

173 campsites available so even on a busy weekend there are places to stay. Large sites with trees in between. Clean bathrooms. Showers and laundry on site. Water available. Great T-mobile service, wifi available. If you are looking for a place to stay the night or a few days, this is recommended. $20/night or $10/night for seniors or access passes.

Not the best, not the worst

This place was okay. It was right next to the water and the mountains in the background were beautiful. Close to the city- so we unhooked the RV and for gas and picked up a few items. They have a Walmart, Sams Club and Home Depot within two miles away. Based on the street we were on, Bullhead City was a very sketchy place though and did not feel very safe. The campsite itself felt safe though. The campsite was too small and close to others for my liking. We have dogs who love to bark at other dogs and whenever they hear sounds, so we always prefer a lot of space. Our dogs love the water but there were too many other dogs and people around to let them off leash to be able to play. Important to know, there is a two dog limit. The neighbors had their music extremely loud until around 9pm and there are a lot of jet skis constantly whizzing by. So, overall, not the worst but wasn’t really for us.

Great place to watch Laughlin fireworks

Well kept campground. Nice main cabin area with ping pong tables. Pool and spa area are well kept and very nice looking! Not a bad place to camp, but very open (very little trees or shade) in such a hot city (during summer)!

    Noisy

Dry camped by the water during the week. Pretty spot but very noisy with music and people outside until well after midnight. 10pm quiet time largely ignored and not enforced.

    Great Spot

ok, when you drive in from the entrance off of bullhead make sure you keep driving and pass princess cove and just keep driving until you see a paved road on your left... PASS THAT and a little way down the road you will see a turn on the left that is a dirt road take that down and find your spot!!! You want daylight because you want to make sure you see where you're going.

    This is free camping!!

If you park at telephone cove and boat up to here that's also a way to get there as well.

Make sure you pick up after yourself.

Great place, wasn't busy today but in less than a month this area will be busy with boats and trucks.

    Close to all the action

Really a nice campground, nice big spots, tables and a fire pit as well as a laundry room and did I mention clean bathrooms!!! oleander trees space out each camp spot which give you all the privacy anyone could need. Perfect place to ride bikes and it’s a good walking distance to the pier with restaurant, grocery store, fishing and boat rentals. This is like a village in its own. Great area for sure and it’s the perfect time now before it’s to hot.

    Super nice and weekend brunch

This place is really everything in more. Your away from the hustle and bustle of the river traffic but close enough to still Enjoy.

Clean bathrooms Spotless pool and spa Stunning restaurant that offers brunch for $5 dollars on the weekends.

Some of the best spots were 122, 63, 55 they had some shade. They don’t have tables so bring your own. They do have full hook ups and private little rentals if need be. Super impressed! Great roads for biking Friendly people as well.

    Witch on a bike!

We stayed just Saturday through Monday. It was so windy we could barely be outside! Couldn’t sleep at night because the wind was so fierce we were scared we were going to blow away! The site was a back in and some experienced campers helped us back in. We had water and electric. No shade in our site and we were closer to the road. Showers and bathrooms are dated but they work. Doubt we will go back there since even though it was close to the river there was nothing between the sites so it felt more like a parking lot than it did camping. And we will never forget the winds!

    great amenities

They have their own entrance to the river which is super neat because if you rent jet skis you can get back to your lodging any time of the day. Also if you have a boat you can load and unload it with the private ramp which is a bonus.

They have full hookups, tables, laundry, a pool, and the river. very nice place and well kept.

also on-site, they have vacation rentals right on the river!! so check them out!! super clean and a neat place they have here and I will be back.

It's neat if you take the water taxis across to the casinos and walk the boardwalk, there are so many bugs so be prepared. o posted pictures of us on the boardwalk and the jet ski we rented which is a great spot just down the street from the rv park

Arrowhead Cove — Lake Mead National Recreation Area

    Gosh Darn Beautiful

    This was a cool spot.

You wouldn’t think of getting as much privacy as one can in a National Park. The drive off the paved road isn’t as long/bad as you’d expect. I had a little trouble getting in but that’s partially my fault, try not to drive into a dispersed camping site at night when its the first time you’ve ever been. Getting in is a little harder than getting out because there is on particular steep, rocky hill on the drive in. Again, I only have front wheel drive but I questioned turning around at one point. Get over the first hill and your in!!

Total privacy at this hidden beach on Lake Mead. Listen though, its a pain, but if you get to the water and see someone else camping there... Follow the first come first serve rule. There is enough room for several tents in the area but given the surrounding terrain, if you don’t know them, move on. I can’t stress that enough. Luckily for me, no signs of human life were detected during my two night stay. That is of course excluding the time I went on a hike and came back to a warning stuck to my cooler. It was my fault, I brought a glass bottle of whiskey and left it out (NO GLASS ALLOWED). The park ranger whom I had not seen was nice about it though, just the warning and he didn’t dump it out or take it. THANK GOD. I will absolutely visit this site again, perhaps in the summer as you’re surrounded by that crystal clear water.

    -Chuck
P.S. Don’t forget, always leave the area better than you found it!
              LEAVE NO TRACE.

Arrowhead Cove — Lake Mead National Recreation Area

    Private cove with gentle waters

I was looking for a remote Cove to set up for a couple nights on Lake Mead and found this little gem off the beaten path but still accessible on a rugged and steeply graded access road. There is a sign at the entrance of Mead-Davis Powerline Rd road that says 4x4 recommended... Take this to heart.

(We came down from north of the cove off of Princess Cove Rd. There is also access from the south off of the same Princess Cove Rd. We didn't see that route driving in at night... Probably try that next time.)

This Cove is sheltered from wind by trees and tall grass. A small peninsula also blocks direct site from the water so this is a very private site.

The water is the clearest I've ever seen and the water fowl dive freely along the banks. There is a treasure trove of wildlife here apparent just from the birds singing. It was a cacophony of songbirds just before the sun went down over the mountains over the water to the west, Nevada's coastline to the Colorado River fed Lake. There are also Gila monsters, tortoise, mules and many more creatures that come visit the water-side.

It was refreshing rinsing off in the crisp, clear water! Bring water shoes as most of the coastline is rocky.

Do not leave food out and also there are no glass containers allowed at this location! Respect your wildlife community and those enforcing the sustainable practices. Shout out to the upstanding rangers working this area! Thanks for watching over us and the respectful reminders.

    “Camp Davis” Bullhead City Arizona

What an awesome Campground with just about everything. If you want to rent camp spend the day hike explore boat it’s awesome here and they are extremely dog friendly with a bunch of dog stations. If you have a RV of any size it’s perfect and wide open here. The Colorado river is beautiful and at your door step. Rent jet skis or go on a boat ride from the Casino across the river on the Nevada side in Laughlin. Camp Davis is huge and theirs something for everyone here if it’s just a day or two for you and the pooch (Boomerz)

    Anything and everything

This camp ground has so much it’s a little village in its own. Who doesn’t love camping and walking straight out to the River at your feet? Literally tent camping is allowed that close. Forgot your ice? They sale that on site as well. They have dump stations for your RVs and fresh water source to Fill up. They have covered tables and bbq grills as well. You can rent cabins that they have available but they are always booked up so if that’s what your after make sure to book in advance. Even if your not camping and you just want to go in it’s ten dollars no matter just so you know. Summer time this place is lines miles long so get there a day early before the weekend starts to save you a little wait. This place you can get to by boat, drive, and even walking. They do have clean bathrooms and it’s Well kept. Keep your food in containers because they have skunks and raccoons.. I know crazy.. little fact the entire Laughlin area has them near the water and hotels because they want a quick meal. AnywAy have proper storage because you may wake up to nothing... really nice place on the water!

    Easy campground to stay in

We group camp here with fellow youth sports families.  The kids love the open areas to run and play in though there are not great playgrounds.  The sites are mostly level but could use some maintaining.  The grounds are very dusty and the roads are a mix of dirt and old pavement.  The staff and fellow campers were all super nice!

We did read that during holidays and summer weekends there are charges for wristbands that seem pretty high; we did not see any of those charges on a late October weekend stay.  Recommend checking that out before booking.

    Waterfront campsites

Loved being able to set up our Napier Sportz tent with our Subaru at the river's edge on the Colorado River just outside of Bullhead City, Az. (across from Laughlin, NV). So clear! Lots of families with jet skis, which we found entertaining although noisy. We just parked our beach chairs in the water as it was hot!! Bath and showers ok, but a hike up the stairs. Pet friendly, too!

    Quiet Park,

It’s still HOT at end of September. 108 when we pulled in. Nice park. Pretty quiet at night. Busy during the day since it’s a day use as well. Amazing how river is empty at 8am but by 10am it’s back full again and Jet Skiis are running strong. Had spot B59 which is an end with grass and great for the pups. Also has water fill stations for $.25 per gallon which is handy for the North Point and the fresh drinking water.
