You’ll feel right at home with full electrical, water, and sewage hookups in a park-like setting at our 72-space RV park conveniently located just off Interstate 5 (I-5). All spaces are pull-throughs. WiFi access is available over most of the park. The RV Park at Rolling Hills is within an easy walk of the Casino and golf course. Private showers, laundry facilities, and pet day care are also nearby at the Traveler’s Center. The site is safe and secure with 24-hour patrol. Fee is $40 per night with a ten night maximum stay. The facility is located on the 22N24 Road spanning the South Fork Feather River. The facility will feature new campspurs, new toilets, picnic tables and fire rings. This camp is ideal for OHV enthusiasts. Water: Hand pump broken at this time. Access from Feather Falls side only at this time.

Had a standard Hookup-RV-Spot. Was very uneven, couldn't get the RV level. If you don't have the premium hookup spots, you got to pay 20$ "Service Fee" for dumping. Idk why because you end up doing it all by yourself as usual anyway. Feels like a bit of a rip off to be honest. The rest is nice, quiet (except for the geese) and clean.

We stopped here on our way back from Oregon. Unfortunately, we arrived late and left early so we didn’t really get to enjoy the amenities. We were in site A10 which we found a little difficult to connect the sewer hose without two hoses. The family room was handicap accessible and included a shower, sink, changing table and a toilet. Even though we were far from the office the internet access was strong. Overall, the stopover served its purpose well, providing a restful break before the last leg of our trip home.

Very clean campground with a helpful host. Bathrooms/showers for paid guest have a code to get in. The day use area has porta potties. This place is dark at night so really good for star watching.

*pros: great little market, very nice staff, clean, great views *cons: rocky watch your step, especially at the beach and a long the shore. Recommend water shoes, although this may only help a little as the rocks are quite large and when can trip over them as much as step on them. they are not round river rocks, but pointy and painful to traverse. *my stay: I was only here for two nights and on the second morning some people pulled in and pitched a tent at 4:30 in the morning. They weren’t particularly loud, but they did curse and had their flashlight bright enough that it shone into my site and RV. Overall, it was still a very pleasant stay for the two nights.

Although by myself if not had a spot here yet. I have visited many that have and is all had raving reviews. I for one and looking for a little piece and quiet. Although I do come with my RV which requires me to run the generator every once in awhile to go ahead and put power in the battery so that I can be silent at night, which is what we all like to hear the crickets cricket away. But all in all I think it's time for me to take my place and get a space there and I will be doing another reviews after that, which I'm more than positive is going to be a very positive and raving review.
RangerOverall Collins Lake was a nice camping resort. They have a lot of sites and the facilities are clean. We went towards the end of July and it was 107 degrees. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beaches so we didn’t go down to the lake, which would have been nice to cool off.
It was a good trip despite the heat. It would definitely be better if we had a boat or water “toys”. I would go back, but not in the summer.

Only $55 for a full hookup that’s a pull through. $50 for Good Sam Members. We came in too late to enjoy the comedy shows they have every first Saturday. If you happen to make it on time, “Carlinos” or the place the host it is in the North Tower. Go right at the main entrance. We missed it by wandering around the casino trying to find it. There are also amazing views at sunset and sunrise if you get to the lots closer to the end- which we didn’t. Great front desk staff! They also have routine patrol security.
Laundry: $2.00 for washing machines and $1.00 for dryers. Must be done by 10 pm with the last load starting at 8 pm.
Showers: $15/person- not included in RV fee
Dump station: $10- only from 9am- 5 pm, although each site has sewer hookups.
No wifi, but I’m not upset because the price was great and I had good cell coverage.
TravelerWe’ve been to Collins Lake a few times and we love it! Lots of different camping spots and the lake is stocked with fish. Ice cream at the store is a must. Wi-Fi connection at the campsite was better than good. Don’t recommend using the last shower on the left in the bathhouse close to the beach. No water pressure at all. Bring your bikes if you have them because the ride to the dam is nice. Spot 73 is an okay spot. Water spigot is way too short and there was a lot of mud and water that wouldn’t drain from site. It’s not listed as such but you can pull through. Anyone that says this place is too crowded with RVs so close to each other has never been to an RV park. At least this place has trees!

Just know that here on The Dyrt, the location on the map for some reason shows it as being many miles away from Kidder Ct: it’s marked as if it is at Higgins Corner, halfway to Auburn? Whereas it is in reality only a mile away from downtown Nevada City, off the Gold Flat exit. So I marked an edit to have this corrected on 4/8/2023; the moderators are to check that, and correct the map after veryifying.
RangerLarge pull-thru sites with vegetation in between. Casino nearby has multiple restaurants and entertainment, including golf. Cheap gas for California. Little bit of a hike to clean restrooms. Quiet. Convenient location for traveling down I-5.
LegendWe used Rolling Hills as a stop over on our voyage from Oregon to Arizona. We stayed one night. The park is CLEAN, Quiet, the sites level, The Park staff are helpful. The park is on the campus of a casino with multiple eating establishments. A Fuel station/truck stop in also on the ground.. I should be more generous in my ratings, but to get five stars the park needs mature trees. Guess I spent too much of my life in Oregon

Despite the beautiful Joshua trees this campground is not a great to stay. The roads are in terrible condition, trash is strewn throughout, and staff is less than friendly or helpful. Roads are terribly narrow and sites are small and very uneven. Not a great place for a trailer nor class A. No direct access to park via road. Is next to neighborhood

TravelerWe found this site via the Dyrt app. We stayed one night, in an very hot week. We really appreciated the pool, the very friendly staff and clean restrooms. Note that the pull through sites have some shade, but the gravel is a small heat island, so it takes long to cool down in a camper van without AC.
GuideWe were able to get a last-minute spot on July 4th weekend. We called around 5pm, made a reservation and rolled in about 8:30pm. There were nice sized trees on the grass patches between each site and lots of open sites so it didn’t feel crowded at all. Showers were coin op - we didn’t use them.

Nice place, has a pool, easy access to town if you need items.
If your into camping close to others or having people around you this works. For me this is to close to the town and all though I am surrounded by trees trully not an experience of actually being in a more natural habitat. I can see my neighbors easily and I prefer space plus quite time starts at 9pm.
Camping shouldn’t feel regulated other than controlled fire of course.
There is no live fire here either only propane.
GuideShaded grassy sites along the banks of Dry Creek (which was full of water when we visited) just above its confluence with the Yuba River. We were tent camping, but each site had a nice, flat, paved parking pad and hookups. The facilities- including pay-showers - were very clean & in fabulous shape. There is a boat launch, and a pretty county park is adjacent. I took advantage of the water and after getting shuttled up to the bridge kayaked down the Yuba and up dry creek all the way to our campsite!
