"Campground is well-organized, with cabins, RV spots, a youth area, tent spots and a ropes course. A pool, flushable toilets and hot showers are available to all campers for free. The site is bordered by highways on both sides, and they create noise day and night," warns Christina S.
Pack entertainment options: Despite amenities, families should bring games and activities. "They had a movie on the beach when we were there, and fun water toys out. It was rather expensive though," shares Kimberly A. about Newport Dunes.

"We didn't particularly care for the area, it was not far enough out to feel like in serene nature but still far to drive to anything.
