Loomis RV Park

With reservations available and full hookups for RVs up to 60 feet, Loomis RV Park accommodates larger rigs on open terrain near the American River. The park provides standard amenities including electric, water, and sewer connections, plus a dump station and picnic tables. A nearby train track generates horn sounds approximately twice daily, though campers report this as manageable background noise. Site conditions vary significantly—some spots present leveling challenges due to uneven ground and low tree branches that may interfere with taller RVs. The park maintains a mix of short-term visitors and long-term residents, with laundry facilities and a swimming pool available for guest use. For those exploring the broader region, campsites around Roseville offer additional options within the area.

Multiple campers commented on the friendly staff and welcoming community atmosphere. Site conditions vary with some leveling challenges for larger RVs, though most found adequate space. Train noise occurs twice daily but doesn't significantly impact the overall quiet environment.

1st camping trip

The campground was nice and the people were fantastic. Our site was a little small and a lot of people live there, but full hook-ups.

Loomis RV Park

We stayed here for 4 days in Dec.  Very nice people that live there and work there.  Quiet park and clean.  There is a train track across the way but not a bother with the horn twice a day.  If it was closer it would be "My Cousin Vinny". (lol)

Although our stay was great, our spot was not that great for our 40ft bus due to the tree limbs and the ground was very uneven, which made it difficult to level.  We would stay here again, however I would make sure it's in a spot that's level.  There is a little store within walking distance.  Overall a very nice park!

Loomis RV Park Ca.

Lots of trees for shade and a nice swimming pool to cool yourself. The sites are a nice size. This is an older park in a location close to shopping. However, the train is near by and can be heard in the park. It comes by about twice in a 24 hr period. Office staff very nice and helpful. There are laundry facilities (pay). And many long term “campers”. All in all,it’s a sweet set up, with easy access.
