Water hookups and restroom facilities make Leavitt Meadows a convenient base camp in the Toiyabe National Forest. The campground sits alongside a river with open terrain that provides easy access to multiple trailheads. A new footbridge spans the river directly from the campground, connecting campers to additional hiking routes on the opposite bank.
At $28 per night, the Forest Service-managed site accommodates RVs with water hookups while welcoming pets. The riverside location and trail access attract hikers looking to explore the surrounding national forest terrain. Campers seeking developed amenities with immediate trail access will find this setup practical for extended stays.
