One of the Few Reasonable Places Left In California

I stayed at Dutch Flat RV for a year (Aug 24-Jul 25). it is a nice campground with some beautiful hikes starting at the campground.  

Good mix of vacation and working residents. Everyone pretty much stays to themselves but are quite friendly. 

The management and owners are super friendly and helpful.  

I know the owners are in the process of improving many aspects of the site.

Magnificent setting and great customer service

Nestled in the pine forest of the Sierra foothills gold country, this park has the potential for greatness, tempered by a somewhat cluttered and trashy appearance. Our site had several old rugs and leveling Timbers left behind, for example. Most sites are neither flat nor level, but close enough to get level. The setting is magnificent. In defense of the undercared for appearance, we were in the area during a short pause in a string of hundred year storms. Before we left, insurance adjusters showed up to inspect some resident campers Follow-up: campground just called me to apologize for the site’s initial appearance, and explain that the prior resident had just left at the start of a four foot snow storm, an we came as it melted. She said the site has now been cleaned. That is great customer service, and I will return whenever I’m in the area again.
