Cedar and pine trees shade the sites at Lower Chiquito Campground, a small Forest Service facility positioned along Chiquito Creek in Sierra National Forest. Each of the drive-in and walk-in sites includes a picnic table, grill, and fire ring, with vault toilets serving the campground. RVs up to 25 feet can access the sites.
The creek receives regular trout stocking, making fishing a draw for visitors who bring their gear. Wagner's Store sits about 9 miles away near Mammoth Pool for supplies and serves as the closest service point to the campground.
