Jackson Creek Campground
Jackson Creek Campground is located near Nevada City in the Tahoe National Forest. The terrain consists of forested areas with a mix of pine and fir trees. Temperatures range from 30°F in winter to 85°F in summer. Nearby attractions include the South Yuba River State Park and the historic Empire Mine State Park.

Jackson Creek Campground has 14 campsites with tables, bear proof food lockers, vault toilets and parking. There is no trash service. Jackson Creek Campground is located on the edge of Jackson Creek in a mixed conifer forest. Very remote campground with limited services. Road is very rough, rocky, and narrow.

Directions
From Nevada City: Take Hwy 20 east towards Truckee approximately 20 miles. Turn left on Bowman Lake Rd (Forest Road 18). First 8 miles are paved, next 3 miles are gravel (2 lanes), last 5 miles are very rough and road is one lane. Continue past Bowman Lake Campground to Jackson Creek Campground. From I-80: Take Hwy 20 cutoff on I-80. Take Hwy 20 heading west toward Nevada City for approximately 5 miles. Turn right on Bowman Lake Road (Forest Road 18). First 8 miles are paved, next 3 miles are gravel (2 lanes), last 5 miles are very rough and road is one lane. Continue past Bowman Lake Campground to Jackson Creek Campground.
