It was a great place to go in the spring and fall
With a heavy heart I have to say this campground is done, the toilets have been removed and the gates are locked, I've written the forest service but no response back looks like Cedar creek is no more. I loved the place, it was a family trip every year in May.
My home away from home
There at two campgrounds for Cedar Creek off of the 155. The northern part and the southern part. Each have campsites that are decently spread apart to give you some privacy. This is especially true for the south campground. There are lots of pine trees that separate you from everyone else. This camp site is first come first served and for the most part you won't have trouble finding a spot. You might have trouble if your trip happens to fall on a holiday though. If your looking for solitude I recommend this campground.
