Within Sierra National Forest, Buck Meadow Campground provides a US Forest Service camping experience with forested and open terrain near a creek. The established campground operates from May through October, accommodating RVs up to 35 feet alongside tent sites. Standard amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and designated fire rings for evening campfires.
Pet owners can bring their dogs to explore the mixed terrain that transitions between wooded areas and open meadows. The nearby creek adds water access to the site's appeal. For those planning extended Sierra Nevada trips, campgrounds around Sierra National Forest offer additional options throughout the region's diverse elevation zones.
