Bretz Mill Campground
Bretz Mill Campground is located near Shaver Lake in the Sierra National Forest. The terrain consists of forested areas with a mix of pine trees and open spaces. Campers can experience temperatures ranging from 30°F in winter to 80°F in summer, and nearby attractions include Shaver Lake and Dinkey Creek, which offer opportunities for fishing and hiking.

Located in a setting of pines and oak, Bretz Mill Campground is located alongside Big Creek. Some sites are located on the creek. The location of the campground makes an great get-a-way for picnicking, cooling off during hot days and overnight campging, especially when higher elevation campgrounds are under snow. The area also serves as a popular OHV base camp. Access to facility is paved. Campground is maintained by Mountain Toppers 4 WD club.

Directions
From Fresno travel east on Hwy 168 through Prather to 4 way stop. (There will be a park and ride on right side of road). Turn left toward Shaver Lake, travel 8.8 miles, turn right on Tollhouse road, travel .7 mile turn left on Peterson Road, travel 10.7 miles to road 10S02 (Peterson road turns into 10S02), travel 4 miles then left into the campground.
