Bear River Casino

So unlike I was informed, there is no parking permits available if you are just car camping. They only give permits to campers and RVs with a valid registration. I had to speak to three different security guards, register for a player’s card, and then go back to security who told me (AFTER telling me to sign up at the cashier) that I couldn’t park here and would hopefully find better luck at a Safeway. Cool.

Only place to stay overnight unless you go back to the town of Eureka. Must go inside the casino to get a pass. You can stay up to 72 hours. Overall, nobody bothered us. We had a secluded parking spot since it was a large lot with minimal cars. Would stay again.

We enjoyed staying here for 3 nights, Free!! You just have to register inside the casino. They give you a pass to put in your window. There are garbage cans and picnic tables. It’s was nice and quiet. We left our trailer for the day while we went exploring in Eureka. Will definitely stay again

Normal parking lot overnight spot. Make sure you go inside casino and get Players card. Then register your vehicle with security at the door.

I received a knock at 5 a.m., telling me that I couldn't be in the parking lot. The restaurant inside the casino was closed. I got chicken strips from the food court, which had me sick by 3 am. They couldn't say much when they saw me getting sick out of the back of my vehicle. However, they do not allow people to stay there in normal circumstances.

You can park overnight free of charge. The area is very safe, clean and easy access off the 101 Redwood Highway.
