Avoid if u have kids definitely not kid friendly

I would avoid this place wish we stayed somewhere else. This should be a 55 and older community. There rules for kids are crazy they ask kids make no noise and if they do you will get yelled at buy who I assume is the owner or a manager. We asked the office after being there for only one night to leave since they obviously have issues with children. But we were told we could leave but no refund and if the owner gets mad or says we noisy she would kick us out. Even know legally she would have a very hard time with that especially if not noise complaint was between the 9 am to 9pm window. I honestly felt so bad for the children they hated it there and honestly put a sour look on there trip and visit to the redwoods. Sure it's pretty and such but if u want no noise then disclose this. Instead of giving us a paper in our paperwork after we arrive and charged us saying to be quite at all times really what the hell. Do your self a favor if u have kids read all the reviews and book somewhere else. Bring leveling blocks for tires pretty quiet can hear the highway buy not terrible

Tranquil Garden

If Azalea Glen was your destination, you could be happy having had a relaxing vacation. This campground is by far the most beautiful I’ve seen, with an exquisite display of flowers and garden delights. An homage to Monet with a bridge and pond complete with Lilly pads beckoned to me for a meditation walk. Do make your way out of camp to explore the area. Fern Canyon is truly spectacular for a hike. Keep your camera handy. Trinidad is a cool little town, walk around and see the harbor view.
