We have always enjoyed camping here. It's a little less primitive than we like. Our only gripe here is that the sites are close together so it feels like you have no privacy. Almost all of the sites are shady and there are lots of cool hikes and exploring to do. Check out the ampitheater. The swimming is always perfect here!
This is a very primitive campground, but it's one of our favorites! We can almost always find a spot to camp and it's super easy to pull our trailer into every spot there. It's a horse camp and there are many spots with shade and some with none. There are two vault bathrooms, no tables provided, and not trash. We love the peacefulness of this place and will continue coming back.
My husband, our 5 year old boy, and I camped for three days this past week. We got a campsite right on the banks of the lake. The view was outstanding and the campsites were shady with lots of trees. They provide a picnic table, trash hook, and fire pit. It was really quiet there and there are plenty of spots that are spacious and not too close together. Also, the vault toilets on the campground are surprisingly not stinky! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!
