Very remote

The ride in is a long one with steep grades and rugged terrain. Definitely don't bring a camper down here. Amazing views, very quiet and the river is absolutely breathtaking. This road isn't made for smaller vehicles so bring and SUV or a pickup.

Isolated

Great primitive camping. I’ve been there a few times it can get soft if we’ve had a lot of rain. There is an outhouse.

Great remote overnight stop.

Stopped there for a night. Not an unpopular area with locals, I spoke to several over the 24hrs I stayed here. Good pull off area with room for 3-5 "sites. A few established "dispersal" spots to use. Was able to comfortably pull my 4runner in and car camp comfortably for a night right next to the Buffalo river and between 2 fresh water streams feeding into it. Well worth the stop. Beautiful area!
